Item 2.01 Completion of Acquisitions or Disposition of Assets

On March 9, 2007, KEMET Corporation announced that it will launch its public tender offer for all of the issued and outstanding shares in Evox Rifa Group Oyj and for all of the loan notes under the convertible capital loan issued by Evox Rifa on March 12, 2007.
