As previously disclosed, at a meeting of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Tyco Electronics Ltd. on November 18, 2008, the Board elected John C. Van Scoter to the Board, effective December 1, 2008. On January 13, 2009, the Board appointed Mr. Van Scoter as a member of the Nominating, Governance and Compliance Committee effective January 14, 2009.
