ARLINGTON, S.D. - October 21, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Tami Johnson, a mother, grandmother, a small business owner, has completed her new book, "The Christmas Tree Disaster": a wonderful illustration with a story about Annie-Loo, a young kid who tells Santa to skip her on the list this year because she's going to buy herself a pet goat. With this comes a responsibility she's about to have and lessons she's about to learn.

Johnson writes, "Annie-Loo tells Santa that he does not need to bring her a present this year because she has emptied her piggy bank and plans to buy her own present, a goat.

While attending an auction with her dad, she spots the perfect one. Since her dad is busy on the phone, she bids on it on her own. She keeps raising her hand until the auctioneer calls out, 'Sold, to the little girl with the freckled nose.'

Hearing what the auctioneer just said, Dad puts down his phone and asks, 'Annie-Loo, what did you just do?'

Smiling, she replies, 'Well, Dad, I just bought my own Christmas present.'

With owning a goat comes the responsibility of taking care of it, which includes keeping Elfie the goat and herself out of trouble. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, things go wrong."

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Tami Johnson's new book brings a yuletide read to the children embedded with a lesson about responsibility in the midst of childhood's fun and games.

Readers can purchase "The Christmas Tree Disaster" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble.
