Lloyd Jones LLC, a private equity real estate investment, development, and management firm, has announced that Michael Martin has been appointed chief financial officer and chief operating officer to oversee the company's financial and business operations.

Martin is the former president/COO for American House Senior Living, one of the nation's largest owner/operators of independent living, assisted living, and memory care properties throughout the Midwest and Florida. He played a vital role in the company's recapitalization efforts through a national REIT. He has also held senior executive positions with several national private and public high-growth firms, including Paragon Hotels and Polaris Hotel Management, an award-winning, third-party management company he co-founded. He was also president and COO for the nation's largest lodging and food provider for the rail industry.
At Lloyd Jones, Martin is responsible for all aspects of operations, asset management, development, finance, and investments. His immediate focus will be expanding the firm's senior-living portfolio while driving efficiencies in multifamily operations and accounting.
Martin graduated magna cum laude in business from Vanderbilt University and received a Master of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University as well as an Executive MBA from the Anderson School of Management-UCLA. He is currently an advisory board member for the Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures.
