Mississauga, Oct 27, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Remitbee Online Money Transfer, a fintech, (financial -technology) company specializing in digital remittances has expanded its services to physical cash transfers by way of aerial drones.

Each drone is said to be solar-powered, equipped with laser and biometric security.

"Our ai powered drones are connected to a decentralized network and are coated in an antiviral/antibacterial polymer ensuring the delivery is safe in all aspects," explains Remitbee Product Strategist, Maksym Vahkriv.

The state of the art drones are expected to be active on October 20, 2020, and will deliver cash from Canada to over 45 countries. Deliveries will include live tracking and a webstream of the drone's international journey.

"We often look for innovations for making consumers' lives easier. Remitbee is already the best way to send money overseas," explains Maksym.

With customer convenience in mind, Remitbee offers various funding options for money transfers based on customer needs. Recently, they have slashed their fees for transfers funded by debit, allowing users to send smaller amounts faster and at a lesser cost. Remitbee has the most payment options of all remittance companies and is the first one to introduce Interac e-transfers as a way to pay for international money transfers.

"All transfers over $500 using the Remitbee wallet are free, making Remitbee a great option for Canadians who want to send larger amounts", says Bhaneeta Chadha, Remitbee Marketing Specialist.

According to statistics Canada in 2017, 38% of immigrants living in Canada that are from ODA-eligible countries sent money back home. The result is a multi-billion dollar remittance industry. The study also observed that on average, remittances make up  27% of gross domestic product (GDP) in some developing countries.

Though the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the need for financial support for many families and individuals, the World Bank states that it expects remittance flows to drop by $100 billion in 2020 due to poor economic conditions. Making the need for affordable remittance solutions even more necessary

. "We are motivated to create solutions that make sending money low cost and easier for our immigrant hero's." explains Bhaneeta.
