New PASSPORT Magazine Survey Shows LGBTQ Travelers Are Ready to Start Traveling Now

PASSPORT Magazine surveyed more than 5,000 Subscribers and key results are below.

Our PASSPORT Magazine subscribers surveyed have shared their opinions in regard to travel (both internationally and domestically), and all respondents stated that they would be traveling in 2020. Our LGBTQ readers expressed an overwhelmingly positive desire to travel as soon as restrictions ease. 

PASSPORT conducted this online study from April 21 to May 12 and received responses from 5,061 subscribers across the U.S. 

Study highlights include:

·      Traveling in Summer 2020 27.5%, Fall/Winter 2020 62.4%.

·      Taking a domestic trip in the next 6 months 73% stated that they would likely do so.

·      Taking an international trip in the next 6 months 51% stated they would likely do so.

·      Staying in a hotel in the next 6 months 65% stated they would likely do so.

Regarding air travel:

·      74% will likely take a 3 hour or less flight in the next 6 months.

·      65% will likely take a 3-6 hour flight in the next 6 months. 

·      52% will likely take a 6 or more hour flight in the next 6 months.
