Recruitment Industry Unites to Bring Jobs to Displaced Recruiters

Platform an unprecedented example of cooperation among vendors, companies and recruiters.

SAN JOSE, Calif. - April 28, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Recruitment industry vendors and TA leaders launched RecruitersRecruitingRecruiters.com, a job aggregation platform that scrapes and compiles jobs from participating company career sites.

“We’ve gathered industry heavy hitters, making this as collaborative and seamless as possible for candidates finding themselves out of jobs and companies trying to rapidly hire talent,” said CXR president Chris Hoyt.

A collaboration of industry veterans from CareerXroads, Consider, SmartRecruiters, The Talent Board, and Red Branch Media and employers like Nike, EY, Hilton, United Airlines, Uber, and more are behind the platform.

A differentiator is the commitment to candidate experience:

Hoyt and CXR founder Gerry Crispin enlisted an all-star team, including SmartRecruiters’ Roy Baladi, who co-founded Jobs for Lebanon to great success, Consider’s Ralph Rabbat, and Brad Cook to create a community-powered platform.

The three companies spearheaded the technical architecture concept to scrape and aggregate roles from hundreds of corporate career sites.

“The goal was no additional burden on companies already dealing with so much,” said Cook.

Ralph Rabbat added: "When we learned we could contribute to this movement, we were immediately in."

The team discussed candidate satisfaction through the portal and participating companies, as well as the best way to roll out the platform.

“We want the companies that join in this mission to agree to keep that standard as high as possible during these trying times, especially given most of the candidates on the platform have already experienced a loss,” said Crispin.

Candidates using the platform will be surveyed and provide feedback on each participating company. Organizations are encouraged or coached on how to improve a lower score to ensure great candidate experience.

Participating companies’ recruiters can also log in and search for active candidates, then contact them directly at no cost and easily engage with recruiters at other companies.

Those involved in the creation of the portal cite employer brand as key to riding the current wave of layoffs and furloughs, driving the highest unemployment rate the United States has seen in decades. Recruitment leaders have responded quickly to aid their counterparts and the newly unemployed.

“What makes this a game-changer is the coordination of so many companies. This industry has always looked out for its own and we’re seeing that all over the world now,” said Maren Hogan, CEO of Red Branch Media, the communications arm of the initiative.

The platform has 200+ companies with jobs posted and has opened the platform up to those willing to commit to the Candidate Code of Conduct. The steering committee anticipates 100+ company applications within the first week.
