RCM Ag Services adds Bert Farrish to their team as Director Commercial Agriculture

CHICAGO - April 23, 2020 - PRLog -- Bert Farrish has joined the RCM Ag Services team as Director of Commercial Agriculture. This key hire for the risk management and crop marketing advisory firm joins a team of advisors in local farm hubs across the country with over 150 years of combined expertise supporting producers and commercial agriculture operations. With an increase in the number of large, corporate-owned commercial facilities, many midsize and locally owned operations and co-ops face an uphill battle. Farrish's expertise will help meet growing demand for RCM Ag Services products and services including customized crop marketing tools, diversification of futures hedging, and cash management to an expanding list of customers spanning individual producers, grain elevators, commodity houses, lumber mills, ethanol plants, end users, and more.

Farrish has over 40 years of experience ranging from U.S. grain operations, global grain export, grain processing, production agriculture, food, technology and bioenergy. Farrish has served in Washington, D.C., as a high-level official within the USDA, and as President of Farrish Enterprises and Agribusiness Consultant. With RCM Ag Service he will leverage his many years of experience in agriculture, specifically grains, food products, renewable energy, biomaterials and government, to enable our commercial partners to increase the profitability of both their operations and the producers they service. Farrish will be based in Franklin, Tennessee.
