Bethel Rd. Distillery Joins the Ranks of Local Distillers with Hand Sanitizer

"From Our Still To Our Community"

PASO ROBLES, CA, April 15, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bethel Rd. Distillery and Winery have joined many distilleries around San Luis Obispo County by turning their production of distilled spirits into the production of much-needed hand and surface sanitizer. The COVID-19 Pandemic has left many in our community without the protection they need, especially those on the front lines. Shifting production to this essential service was an easy decision.

Bethel Rd. has teamed up with a few other companies to produce their hand and surface sanitizer and get it into the hands of those who need it most. In hard times like these, we are reminded how easily we all come together for a single cause and how every small effort creates a colossal difference. Fable Soap Co., a Central Coast company, has partnered up with Bethel Rd. to donate sanitizer to those in need and provide hard to get spray bottles and other supplies. Bethel Rd. also teamed up with LABELTRONIX who is based in Anaheim, CA who donated the labels and printing costs. The design of its label was donated by Kraftwerk Design, Inc. out of San Luis Obispo, CA who has designed all Bethel Rd. wine and spirit labels.

With much gratitude for what these companies have done to aid Bethel Rd. in the creation of its hand sanitizer, they are able to give to those in need. Bethel Rd. has already donated 30 gallons of its hand sanitizer to the Sacramento Regional Fire Department/ EMS Communications Center. Dr. Kevin Mackey stated, "This valuable resource will enable a collaborative program involving the Sacramento County Public Health Department and Students for a National Health Program, the Unhoused Encampment Outreach project. Our students are proud to serve as Disaster Service Workers to help prevent COVID-19 spread in the homeless community." Bethel Rd. has also made additional donations to local long-term care facilities, the Atascadero State Hospital and the Cal Poly University Police Department who is preparing to become an alternative treatment center for COVID-19 patients.

Bethel Rd. does have their hand sanitizers available for sale to the public in both 750ml and 375ml sizes with curbside pick-up and delivery options available in addition to some shipping promotions. You are also able to go to their website and donate these products to those who need them most or to an organization of your choice. Visit their website or give them a call at 805-434-0319 for more information.

ABOUT BETHEL RD. DISTILLERY & WINERY
The path to Bethel Rd. has been one of passion, experimentation, and homage to the tradition of spirit making from around the world. Since Niels Udsen's time living in Italy, making Italian style Grappa has been something he dreamed of. After acquiring one of the first distilling licenses in the county and an Arnold Holstein Bavarian Still, the dream has finally become a reality.

Currently, the distillery and winery are run by the Udsen family, of Castoro Cellars, with Max, Lauren, Malina, and Luke taking the lead. Creativity and community are at the center of the Bethel Rd. mission with the goal being to manifest a space that is both inviting and inspirational. One can expect much more than distilled spirits when visiting Bethel Rd.
