The team at Parker Rose Design created a unique home at Coolidge Place to emphasize the thriving, vibrant, and youthful area. Chloe Watkins, a junior designer at Parker Rose Design, also reached out to local artists to donate pieces to the project to showcase and support their work.
“I used a collection of photography, paintings, and written poems incorporated throughout the model, along with accessories provided by local vendors,” Watkins said. “The use of local art supports community artists as well as helps expand their client reach in a different way. This way, potential buyers can envision the creations in a home-like setting and support art in their community.”
Watkins also incorporated bold, matte black pieces, wood surfaces, and rich fabrics to create the warm look and feel of an in-home art studio. Combined with the modern finishes by Watt Communities, Coolidge Place is expected to be the home to a thriving new community for young LA residents.
