During this urgent medical time, The Head Foundation has partnered with Ludacris and The Ludacris Foundation to donate $200,000.00 worth of medical equipment and supplies to hurricane ravaged islands in Northern Bahamas.

ORLANDO, FL, March 19, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- During this urgent medical time, The Head Foundation has partnered with global brand Ludacris and The Ludacris Foundation to donate $200,000.00 worth of medical equipment and supplies, including 100,000 masks that can be put into inventory immediately week, to assist the nation's medical team to stay safe with Covid-19 now in the country.

The team met with the Foundation's Founder and its President in Abaco, Sat Mar 14 where Regional Medical Chiefs tasked to help The Northern Bahamas recover, spoke to them one on one. Discussed was the need for continued support; the condition of the Northern Clinics and how we will work together to support as many people as possible in the future.

"In our continued recovery efforts, we realized the strain of rebuilding that our medical field has encountered. Ms. Shields and I have been working together for quite a few months to make this happen. And we are proud to deliver, especially at such a crucial time in our society with the Coronavirus now diagnosed in the country." Says Lia Head-Rigby, Founder of The Head Foundation.

At the meeting, 'LudaCris' stressed how important it is to he and his family that they "continue to support the rebuilding process through Lia and her teams. We really had the desire to meet those medical teams on ground face to face - thank them for the arduous task still at hand" and wants us all to know he "loves The Bahamas and will continue to help support The Head Foundation in more missions.

This second mission with Ludacris, is a donation of $200K, which was originally promised at the Hurricane Dorian Pledging Conference in Nassau.

"The first mission we delivered insulin, hygiene kits, gloves and masks, dental kits and water kits, as well as worked with Chef Jose Andres at World Food Kitchen by donating to his foundation. It is so important for foundations to work hand in hand and help each other to keep pushing forward to one common goal," said Ms Roberta Shields, Ludacris Foundation's President. "We are so pleased to still be a part of the mission to help The Bahamas."
