Major League Rugby Suspends the 2020 Season for 30 Days, Effective Immediately

Suspension applies to the Utah Warriors home opener that had been scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Zion's Bank Stadium.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, March 12, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- MLR has suspended all matches for the next 30 days, effective immediately. At the appropriate time, the league and clubs will release further updates. Further decisions will be made in guidance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), and other public health authorities. This suspension applies to the Utah Warriors home opener that had been scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Zion's Bank Stadium.
