ChocaL8kiss owner, Sonam Sondhi, is building a sweet life both in and out of the kitchen. In 2017, Sonam visited the Indian orphanage where her husband was adopted. Upon returning to the U.S., she was inspired to do more for orphaned children. In honor of her 30th birthday, she set out to raise enough funds to cover the living costs for 30 children at the orphanage. Not only did she meet the needs of 30 children, but in a few short months, Sonam and her supporters raised $22,000, providing safe shelter, food, clothing and education for 60 children for an entire year.
Winning the “Girl Scout Cookie Championship” allows Sonam to empower and support the local community as well.
