This camera is dust and ignition-proof, weatherproof and tamper-resistant and provides operators with a live feed from inside tanks, reactors, vessels and other hazardous locations.
The HAL-CMR-CRNM-IP-POE-4MP-IR explosion-proof network IP camera is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations. This camera features a built-in 1/3” progressive scan CMOS image sensor that offers up to 4.0MP resolution at 20 fps. This unit features an integrated IR LED array that provides low light and nighttime visibility up to 45 feet and a wide-angle fixed lens with an 83-degree field of view. This camera is live-view capable without an NVR system and three streams are available, including one for recording and two for live viewing or additional resources.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof network IP camera automatically switches from full color to infrared mode when visible light falls below a certain level. This remote inspection camera utilizes 120dB true wide dynamic range, advanced infrared technology and 3D digital noise reduction as well as a true day/night IR-cut filter removal to produce crisp and clear images. This camera has a waterproof housing and is made of corrosion and chemical resistant polycarbonate with a polycarbonate cover.
A customer-provided RJ45 ethernet cable provides link-up between the camera and the customer-provided DVR system that is mounted outside of the hazardous location. Power over ethernet technology via the ethernet cable provides power to the camera. This unit is mounted to flat surfaces and is suitable for hazardous locations, remote observation of external facilities, and more.
