Kevin Durant and other NBA stars are funding a start-up with their millions to challenge TV sports

Three-year-old Overtime Sports, backed by $35 million in funding from NBA luminaries such as Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony, former NBA commissioner David Stern and VC heavyweights, is developing a sports network for Gen Z. It made CNBC's 2019 Upstart 100 list, released Tuesday.
