Aircraft carrier Ford completes fast cruise evolution, but problems remain

The USS Gerald R. Ford completed a pierside exercise ahead of sea trials, the U.S. Navy said, but it won't be ready for service until 2024 as most of its weapons elevators are not operational and other issues remain.
