The Voice Podcast went live this week with high hopes that the owner Sasha Astley says will inspire singers around the world to pursue their dreams of becoming successful singers. While these are some big goals, Sasha is realistic with her efforts and knows that it will take a lot of work to make an impact in the audio community.
“I started The Voice Podcast with some high hopes and big dreams, but if you don’t give something a go how will you know what might have happened,” Sasha says.
“I have a big passion for singing and helping to train others to become successful singers, so I am confident that I’ll be able to make at least a small difference in some peoples’ lives. If that doesn’t happen and it all fails, well I won’t be too upset because I gave it my all.”
Sasha Astley is a session vocalist and professional vocal coach. Brought up in California and now currently residing in New Zealand while she works on The Voice Podcast.
Sasha has been a musician all her life and worked towards her goals of performing in front of many audiences, working with a range of musicians and also coaching hundreds of students at her vocal academy.
“The Vocal Podcast is set to begin with the release of the website which consists of singing tips, tutorials and product reviews. From there it is planned to be turned into a fully functional podcasting show with guest musicians coming on to share their experiences. I am super excited about that happening, but we need to get a good foundation set up first,” says Sasha.
“Even if one person comes to my site and takes action to learn to sing, I’ll have accomplished my goals. So regardless of how well it goes I am excited and happy to now go live with it,” says Sasha.
