Study Finds That Asia Leads The Pack In Essential Oil Market Growth

A recent study shows that China and Indonesia are among the fastest growing producers of essential oils in the world. Currently, the top five emergency countries in essential oil production are India, China, Indonesia, the United States and Canada. Rising awareness of the benefits of essential oils have led to this rapidly growing manufacturing trend. Many companies, particularly those in Indonesia, have begun high quality production of essential oils in an effort to feed the world market.

Essential oils are being used for a wide range of health benefits. Scientific research into essential oils show that they are being effectively used for stress relief, to help combat sleep deprivation, and a study done by the Journal of Oncology Letters suggests that certain essential oils may be used effectively to treat some cancers.

Additional research has shown that the essential oil market in India is expected to grow substantially between 2017 and 2023. New health benefit information, and a general knowledge of consumers about these health benefits, has led to developing countries such as China and Indonesia to begin producing essential oils at an amazingly higher rate.
