Waterfront Mansion To Be Moved!

7,000 sq/ft waterfront home to be moved by barge in Gig Harbor, WA
MARYSVILLE, Wash. - Aug. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- The Pacific Northwest's largest structural moving company is going to be moving a large 7,000 square foot home. This building weighs in over 300 tons and is nearly 100' wide! Starting Friday morning this house will be relocated onsite to prepare for the barging that is set to take place at 6pm that evening.

The house was saved by the current owners as a new house is going to be built in its place. Realizing that this was no small feat, Nickel Bros was brought in to find the house a new home.

With the redevelopment that is happening all over the area, Nickel Bros believes in upcycling homes that are destined to be demolished and put into the landfills. Through this process homes are relocated to a new lot where a new family can enjoy the home at an affordable price. Not only do the new owners get an affordable house but the previous owners save demolition costs plus know that their former home can live on.

Nickel Bros has been moving homes in the Pacific Northwest for over 62 years and have moved over 10,000 homes in that time frame.
