Fisher Investments Releases iPhone Application

Ken Fisher’s money management firm, Fisher Investments, today announced the release of a new application for iPhone. The application provides access to content from its daily news and commentary website, MarketMinder.com.

“Our goal is to help investors stay in tune with global markets and gain perspective on important financial issues,” said managing editor Lara Hoffmans. “With the MarketMinder app, investors can now readily access the most pertinent and influential financial news on their mobile devices,” she continued. Hoffmans has co-authored several bestselling books with Ken Fisher.

The MarketMinder app is currently available for free download through the Apple Store. It provides much of the same information available through the full MarketMinder.com website, but in a mobile-friendly format. The main features include the following:

• Cover Story: Daily commentary with current views on market events and key economic issues
• Today’s News Roundup: Links to third-party news stories we believe either: 1) Correctly interpret market issues and current events, or 2) Perpetuate investing myths, basic misunderstandings of capitalism, and other common market misperceptions
• Global Market Update: A review of the day’s global market action
• Columns: Regularly updated opinion columns on the markets, investing, market myths, the global economy, and behavioral finance from a variety of contributors

MarketMinder was created in 2007 to help educate investors on global capital markets and the economy, consistent with Fisher Investments’ investment philosophy. It is one of the many educational resources offered by the firm and CEO Ken Fisher.
