Fisher Investments Looking for Qualified Candidates

Fisher Investments plans to maintain hiring as the firm experiences continued growth. Opportunities are available in its Washington and California offices.

Group Vice President Jill Hitchcock said, “We’re looking for bright, energetic people to fill a range of immediate openings. We want people with the potential and desire to build lifelong careers at our firm, and as part of this we believe in offering employees opportunities to contribute in a number of different areas.”

Fisher Investments’ dynamic, cubicle-free environment enables employees to collaborate not only with their own departments, but across various areas of the firm. Though the company has grown tremendously over its 30-plus year history, it retains a small business feel due to its beginnings as a boutique firm. The firm now has over 1000 employees, with approximately 350 in Washington and most of the remainder in its San Francisco Bay Area offices.

The company continues to seek talented, driven individuals to fill a variety of positions. Those embarking on new careers will find the Investment Associate role particularly attractive, as it allows employees the potential to succeed in an achievement-based culture with excellent lateral and vertical promotion opportunities. Investment Associates contribute in Client Services, Sales, Research, Marketing, and other areas, gaining valuable experience and exposure to the firm’s business early in their careers.

Those with more experience in financial services will find extensive opportunities in the Investment Counselor role. Investment Counselors develop relationships with the firm’s high net worth clients, serving as their link to the Investment Policy Committee and other key departments. Though the Investment Policy Committee has responsibility for the firm’s investment strategy decisions, Investment Counselors relay these decisions to clients, along with the firm’s market views and analysis on current events, while addressing any questions.

Fisher Investments provides ongoing training and mentoring for all roles and believes in allowing successful employees to gain exposure in different departments. The firm believes in promotion from within, and many of its senior managers began in associate-level or Investment Counselor roles. At Fisher Investments, excellence and outstanding contributions are rewarded daily. Whether individuals want to establish their financial services career or broaden their existing experience, they should make Fisher Investments a key part of their search.

Interested candidates should apply directly through the Fisher Investments careers website.
