Canada ‒ 15 August 2022 ‒ The world’s youngest NFT artists are preparing to launch “Kidthereum,” their NFT project. Founded and designed by 11-year-old Gayathri and her three-year-old sister Vaishnavi, Kidthereum includes multiple collections, such as “Pocket Pals,” a dual reward system that creates increasing value.
Gayathri’s creative endeavors began at a young age. Gayathri was born on January 5, 2011, and lives in Canada with her family. In May 2019, her grandmother came from India to visit the family. Her grandmother saw Gayathri’s drawings scattered on pieces of paper throughout the house and decided to give Gayathri another way to express herself creatively. She bought Gayathri an iPad Pro so she could expand her creative horizons. Because of that, Gayathri dedicates all of her work and projects to her grandmother. Gayathri’s younger sister and creative partner, Vaishnavi, was born on June 28, 2019.
Gayathri envisioned Kidthereum when she was 10 years old. With the help of her new iPad, she could turn her sketches into digital drawings. Kidthereum includes three different collections that are drawn by Gayathri and Vaishnavi:
- Pocket Pals
- Fabled Friends
- An unannounced “Club Signature” collection
