Russian Cosmetics Manufacturer Tina Kandelaki’s Homophobic Statements Caused a Burst of Resentment

United States - 07-07-2021 (PR Distribution™) -

The well-known Russian TV presenter and media manager Tina Kandelaki, the owner of the Ansaligy cosmetics brand, which is also well-known in Russia, stood up for homophobes, who recently attacked a pride parade in Georgia, on her Telegram channel. She called those radicals, who beat LGBT activists, “traditionalists”, and published the following: “Being any kind of person, and manifesting your position on the streets while hurting the feelings of other people is not the same thing, to put it mildly. Especially when there are many agents of influence in the information space who do not care about fomenting protests and destroying someone else's statehood…”

Activists of all forms of equality declare that pride parades, protests, and solidarity marches are needed for creating peace in the people’s minds. But, in fact, everything is exactly the opposite: peace is when the descendants of slaves do not demand reparations from the descendants of slave owners, publicists do not hype on their inclusivity, when representatives of any minorities do not gather in the local majority, forgetting that people with other values ??live nearby.

By the way, ordinary people, who have now been considered obscurantists, do not even think about reclaiming the future of their country until they see what is happening outside.

Racism exists and will exist as long as there are adherents of the theory of white supremacy, as well as the BLM movement. Homophobia exists and will exist as long as there is a manifestation of sexual orientation as an advantage or disadvantage in the media space. And, of course, there will always be social engineers from foreign intelligence services who use the polarity of opinions to organize protests and sabotage work in foreign countries. Their key performance indicator is the number of provoked civil wars.

Tina Kandelaki believes that activists and human rights defenders advocating for the rights of LGBT and black people provoke racists and homophobes with their actions. She justifies acts of violence against these people in the post-Soviet area and calls activists and human rights defenders "agents of Western influence".

Ansaligy's clients were outraged by Kandelaki's statement. Some of them even called for boycotting the company. One of the commentators remarked: “According to your text, everyone should sit tight and blend in among other representatives of this or that nationality, culture, orientation and should now use it as the indicator in society. I propose then to forbid heterosexuals to hold hands and kiss in a public place. In my opinion, it seems fair, don’t you think so?”.
