Civilian Chaplain Care is vital in all sectors where stress and danger lurks. Unfortunately, this can happen anywhere —even in the schools.
According to the Military Chaplaincy Review (2024) "Practical reasons for assigning chaplains to regiments and later, to brigades included the roles eighteenth-century clergy played in educational, social and moral leadership in civilian and military organizations."
Proponents of chaplaincy were marked by divine protection. George Washington had four bullet holes in his coat and two horses shot from under him, yet remained alive. Risking their lives for others, surviving bullets; both he and President Trump recognized the importance of the religious freedoms that America was built upon and thusly sustain as one nation under God.
New York is a leader of opportunity! In a world focused on inclusivity, school chaplaincy should not be excluded. The “Big Apple” has a chance to choose the fruit of a stable society. The vibrancy and freedoms that birthed New York, as the first epicenter, was built upon the kind of faith and the backs of its original forerunners; and with God’s blessing.
