Career public affairs and human services executive to lead public policy efforts at Kyros as digital recovery platform expands its national footprint.

Minneapolis, Minnesota Dec 5, 2022 (Issuewire.com) - Kyros, the nation's first-of-its-kind digital platform for people and organizations within the recovery community, has added Amy Dellwo as Vice President of Strategic Policy and Growth. Amy comes to Kyros from NUWAY, where she was the Vice President of Public Policy for the past three years. Amy is joining Kyros as the recovery industry platform is expanding its national footprint and rolling out services in two new markets, Arizona and Ohio.

"When it comes to influential figures in the Substance Use Disorder industry in Minnesota, you don't get more accomplished and knowledgeable than Amy. Amy will solidify our partnerships with Payers and State Agencies and allow us to align our solutions to work in collaboration with the field to enable tools for the shared vision of the community" said Daniel Larson, CEO, and Founder of Kyros. "With more than 20 million Americans affected by substance use disorder, this is clearly a national issue and Kyros' plan has always been to offer services throughout the country. Amy's expertise in public policy is going to support our entry into new states. Amy's experience working with state and local agencies, as well as with private sector providers will be critical as we enter new territories allowing us to help more people and grow our communities much faster."

"Kyros' platform is going to substantially impact the recovery industry in terms of getting millions more people to access to critical services and treatment," said Dellwo. "Having worked in human services my entire career I've seen firsthand how difficult it is for people to connect with support services and providers. Kyros' platform solves this problem. I am excited to be coming on board at this exciting time to support their expansion into new markets."

Prior to joining Kyros, Dellwo was the Director of Public Policy at NUWAY before being promoted to Vice President of Public Policy. Before joining NUWAY she spent 20 years at the Minnesota Department for Human Services (DHS) where she rose through the ranks to become Chief of Staff responsible for all agency-wide functions. As the department-wide Government and External Relations Director, she led the department's legislative policy development including the areas of health care, economic assistance, child welfare services, aging and adult services, behavioral health, and services for people with disabilities. Dellwo is a President of the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery Chemical Health (MARRCH). She has a bachelor's degree in community health education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a master's degree in public affairs from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
