Through their adventure, Nell and Will learn important lessons about kindness, generosity, and the true spirit of the holiday season. Reflecting on his inspiration for the book, Mark McLaughlin shared:

About the Author
Mark McLaughlin is a former high school English teacher and longtime superintendent of schools in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He now works as a business and education leadership consultant, helping organizations strengthen current and emerging leaders. A lifelong learner, Mark enjoys kayaking and hiking throughout New England and beyond. He believes reading opens doors to discovery and hopes his writing will inspire children and adults alike. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two sons.
