Fiduciary Trust International Welcomes James Corrigan Jr. as Washington, DC-Based Wealth Director

Firm Continues to Build Out Presence in the Nation’s Capital

Fiduciary Trust International, a global wealth manager and wholly owned subsidiary of Franklin Templeton, today announces that James “Jimmy” Corrigan Jr. has joined the firm as a wealth director based in its Washington, DC office. He will report to David Edmiston, regional managing director for the Greater Atlanta and Washington, DC markets.

“Jimmy has established long-term relationships with ultra-high-net-worth families in Washington as well as nearby Maryland and Virginia,” said Mr. Edmiston. “His deep ties to the region, coupled with his extensive knowledge of family wealth planning and its complexities — as well as investment strategies tailored for the ultra-high net worth — make him a solid addition to our growing DC office.”

This appointment underscores the firm’s continued focus on serving families and professionals with complex wealth-planning needs across the Capital Region.

Mr. Corrigan joins Fiduciary Trust International from First National Bank of Pennsylvania, where he helped to lead the firm’s expansion into the Mid-Atlantic through its Bethesda, MD office and managed key business development initiatives. Previously, he originated investment opportunities for family foundations at Rockefeller Capital Management and advised clients on complex planning strategies at Brown Advisory. He began his financial services career at Prudential Securities in Washington, DC.

Fiduciary Trust International remains dedicated to growing its Mid-Atlantic presence and service offering. The firm opened an office in Atlanta, GA in 2022 to complement the expertise of its teams in Washington, DC and Florida.

“Fiduciary Trust International’s array of exceptional resources and capabilities continues to amaze me, and I look forward to sharing our story and showing how we customize solutions to help families navigate complex financial decisions with confidence and clarity,” added Mr. Corrigan.

Mr. Corrigan graduated from Denison University with a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a minor in history. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
