Highlights of the program include a 50-person volunteer DEIBA Taskforce that established a DEIBA Vision and principles to guide their work as they tackled modernizing benefit plans, improving selection processes, ensuring equitable compensation, a monthly roadmap of internal communications and stories by associates about their experiences and achievements, engagement surveys, mentoring, and both psychological safety and inclusive leader training.

Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Jen Yi Boyer shared, “The ways that our associates have embraced this work provide endless proof points celebrating the strength of our culture and desire of our team members to make a difference every single day. Our focus on initiating collaborative dialogue through shared storytelling at all levels of the organization from the board of directors to our front-line teams created a sense of community and belonging leading to measurable improvements in engagement.”
