Income Research + Management Hires Senior Business Development Professional

John Trydahl joins the Boston-based fixed income manager to strengthen the firm’s business development efforts.

Income Research + Management (“Income Research” or “IR+M”) today announced the hiring of John Trydahl as Director, Business Development and Strategy. John joins IR+M from Loomis, Sayles & Company, where he was a Vice President within the Institutional Services group. In his new role, John will focus on furthering IR+M’s institutional business development objectives in North America while also contributing to the strong client and consultant partnerships IR+M is known for. John will be based in Columbus, Ohio and will report to Susan Brengle, Head of Client Relationships and Business Development.

John brings over 20 years of industry experience working with institutional allocators. In addition to his 11-year tenure at Loomis Sayles, he also served as a client advisor at J.P. Morgan Asset Management and as an analyst at Banc One Investment Advisors. “I am thrilled to be joining IR+M and appreciate the value they place on building meaningful relationships with clients and industry partners,” said John.

John graduated from Ohio University with a B.A. in Business Administration and Finance. He is active in nonprofits, serving as Board Vice Chair and Investment Committee Chair for Mt. Carmel Health System Foundation and on the Finance Committee for the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio.
