Ossium Health Named Winner of Inc.’s 2023 Best in Business Award

Ossium Health, a bioengineering company leveraging stem cell science to develop treatments for diseases of the blood and immune systems, has been named as a winner of the Inc. 2023 Best in Business award. This award recognizes dynamic companies that made an extraordinary positive impact on their communities, their industries, the environment, or society as a whole in the past year. Ossium was named a winner in two categories: Health Products, which honors companies producing healthcare products, and Lean and Mean, which honors companies with annual gross revenues under $5m.

“We’re honored to receive an award that recognizes the progress Ossium has made toward our mission of improving human health through bioengineering,” said Kevin Caldwell, Ossium’s CEO, Co-Founder and President. “We’re proud to be listed alongside an impressive group of companies that make a positive impact on the world.”

Eric Hagerman, Special Projects Editor at Inc., said, “Being named to the Best in Business list is a rare and special honor. These honorees demonstrate the foresight, caring, and dedication to prioritize positive impact—impact on their community, on their industry and the environment, and even on society as a whole.”

To choose the companies named as Best in Business, Inc.’s editors reviewed companies’ achievements over the past year and noted how they made a positive difference in the world. They selected winners in 70 different categories based on industry, age, revenue, size, and impact. The list of companies receiving this award can be found at inc.com/best-in-business and in the Winter issue of Inc. magazine hitting newsstands on December 12th.
