Tom Izzo Leads New Campaign For Bad Boy Mowers

BATESVILLE, AR / ACCESS Newswire / March 17, 2026 / Tom Izzo won't just be seen coaching on the sidelines this March - fans will see him in the new ad campaign from Bad Boy Mowers. Premiering during the height of college basketball's season, the campaign features two different spots starring one of the game's most iconic leaders.

"Best In The Game" features Izzo speaking to camera about what it takes to be a champion (the legendary coach has won 11 conference regular season titles, six conference tournaments and a national championship); the spot connects his message to Bad Boy's leading line of zero-turn mowers. "New Training Program" shows a more humorous side of Izzo, as he surprises players with a practice on a farm. He coaches them like it's a normal workout, using tractors, chainsaws and UTVs in an unorthodox series of drills, including a 3-man-weave on Bad Boy zero-turn mowers.

"I am excited to be a member of Team Bad Boy and had so much fun making these commercials," said Izzo of his involvement in the campaign. "Bad Boy is a real champion of college basketball, and they make great products. Just ask my grandkids about my Bad Boy UTV, they love it."

Bad Boy Mowers has a proud history working with college basketball, most recently as title sponsor of the Bad Boy Series, an elite lineup of non-conference men's and women's college basketball matchups between the SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC, Big East and West Coast Conferences.

"Coach Izzo has been a fantastic partner as we continue to introduce Bad Boy to college basketball fans and beyond," said Peter Ballantyne, CEO of Bad Boy Mowers. "His teams always deliver toughness on the court, just like our products do in the field. Coach Izzo is a true ambassador of the game, making connections with people everywhere he goes; we saw that first-hand when he took time on our commercial set to personally meet everyone involved."

Bad Boy's new spots featuring Coach Izzo serve as the tip off to a broader campaign titled "Bad Boy Season," in which the brand positions itself as a go-to player for every season.

About Bad Boy

Headquartered in Batesville, Arkansas, Bad Boy is the brand that revolutionized the zero-turn lawn mower game. Bad Boy was the first brand to market zero-turn mowers to rural landowners and homeowners (not just commercial mowers) with a simple promise: A better mower at a better price. Bad Boy became the fastest-selling mower in America, extending its engineering expertise into other categories, including Bad Boy's line of tractors, the Bandit UTV, the E-Series of 80-volt handheld tools, and commercial-grade gas tools. Most recently, they've introduced powerful pressure washer models and proudly entered the light construction category. Bad Boy is known for sporty design, uncompromising power, relentless innovation and a signature attitude that is truly one-of-a-kind. This led to the brand's slogan, "Power. Performance. Attitude."
