Abu Dhabi, UAE - Another cycle of International Awards issued by Harvard Business Council (NY, USA) has successfully concluded on November 10, 2022.
Of the 531 candidates for victory, only 60 have reached the most coveted milestone. Among them Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).
Established in 2007, SEHA is the UAE's largest and most comprehensive healthcare network. It was set up to provide UAE residents and citizens with integrated and outstanding healthcare services following the highest international quality and safety standards.
Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, SEHA's acting chief executive officer, achieved the Gold status for the Women Leader Award. During her service, she completed many projects. Examples are operating and managing the first multispecialty healthcare center with an executive comprehensive screening program in the region, establishing the Ambulatory Endoscopy units, and introducing Home Care services to AHS after transferring the service from SEHA hospitals. She was also the UAE government's official speaker of the health sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, under her supervision, all Operational KPIs are met, including the new JAWDA KPIs of DOH. These are only a few of Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi's long list of remarkable achievements.
At an organizational level, Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has reached the Diamond status in the Dealing with Covid-19 Award. They have been at the forefront dedicated to mobilizing their efforts against COVID-19 amidst all the challenges. SEHA has been instrumental in leading and enabling Abu Dhabi and UAE to productively and efficiently deliver programs to support the government in providing exceptional community care during this COVID-19 pandemic. One novel innovation was the establishment of the Prime Assessment Centers, which accommodated 3,500 patients at a single time. They strengthened the COVID-19 healthcare infrastructure by providing the community with easy and safe access to testing, medical assessment, and guidance.
