On December 11, 2002, Monsanto Companys Chief Technology Officer, Robert T. Fraley, Ph.D., will participate in a conference call for clients of The Buckingham Research Group. This conference call will not be open to the public. A slide presentation to be used by Dr. Fraley during the conference call is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference. This slide presentation will be provided to clients of The Buckingham Research Group on December 10, 2002, in advance of the scheduled conference call.
