On August 31, 2016, PartnerRe Ltd. ("PartnerRe or the "Company') announced that, as a result of a review of its capital structure, it is considering a partial redemption of its preferred shares and a refinancing of its $250 million aggregate principal amount of 6.875% Senior Notes due 2018.
