Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective today, Troy Alstead, chief financial officer and chief administrative officer of Starbucks Corporation (the "Company"), has been promoted to chief financial officer and group president, Global Business Services. Mr. Alstead will continue to have responsibility for the Company's global financial, technology and supply chain operations. He will remain a member of the Company's senior leadership team and continue to report to Howard Schultz, the Company's chairman, president and ceo.
