Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On October 19, 2005, Electronics For Imaging, Inc. (the "Company") announced its financial results for the third fiscal quarter of 2005 ended September 30, 2005. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is being furnished under Item 2.02 of this Form 8-K.

On October 19, 2005, David Peterschmidt, a member of the Company's Board of Directors and Compensation Committee, resigned, effective immediately.
