AK Steel Holding Corporation is hereby furnishing the following information under Regulation FD:
On May 9, 2006, AK Steel Corporation issued a press release, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit No. 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein, announcing that members of the United Auto Workers (UAW), Local 4104, have overwhelmingly ratified a new six-year labor agreement covering about 200 hourly production and maintenance employees at the company’s Zanesville (OH) Works.
