ChipMOS TO HOLD ANNUAL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM IN SHANGHAI

 

Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 18, 2005 – ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (“ChipMOS” or “the Company”) (Nasdaq: IMOS) today announced that it will host its annual technical symposium at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai in Shanghai, China on November 4, 2005. Over 200 participants are expected to attend the full day symposium, which will focus on green packaging and modules and LCD driver IC related topics covering front-end, back-end, as well as market and application trends. In addition to ChipMOS executives, speakers will feature the company’s customers, suppliers and project partners, including Shanghai SVA NEC, NewVision, Sumitomo Bakelite, Himax Display and Shanghai Jiaotong University. Simultaneous Chinese to English translation will be available.
